How much does it cost to honeymoon in Thailand?

Thailand is an extremely affordable destination, if you are looking for luxury without spending an arm and a leg, then a southeast Asia honeymoon is the right choice. The only expensive part of Thailand is getting to Thailand. You might have to splurge a few grand on the flight, but once you are there you are saving thousands!

On average, my husband and I spent about $40 USD a day between the two of us, not including accommodation. This is including food, excursions, and all the little things you do throughout your day exploring Thailand. We also were not trying to budget, so it is this cheap without even trying! It was our honeymoon, so we splurged on the accommodation, but you can easily find a place to stay in Thailand for less than $50 USD a night if you are adhering to a stricter budget.

Here is the breakdown of what it costs to honeymoon in Thailand:

  1. Flights: The cost of flights can vary depending on your departure location, airline, and the time of year. However, as November is generally considered a shoulder season with lower airfare prices, we were able to find reasonably priced round-trip tickets. On average, flights from major international airports to Bangkok can range from $600 to $1,200 per person. However, it’s important to note that prices may fluctuate, so it’s recommended to book well in advance to secure the best deals.

  2. Accommodation: Thailand offers a wide range of accommodation options to suit various budgets and preferences. From luxurious resorts and boutique hotels to charming guesthouses and budget-friendly hostels, there’s something for every couple. In November 2022, we found that accommodation prices were generally affordable, especially when booking in advance. On average, a mid-range hotel or resort can cost between $50 and $150 per night, while more luxurious options can range from $150 to $300 or more per night. If you are looking for the most budget-friendly stays, check out Airbnb, VRBO, or hostels where you can find accommodations for less than $50 a night!

  3. Transportation: Getting around Thailand is relatively affordable, thanks to its efficient and well-connected transportation system. In major cities like Bangkok and Chiang Mai, we relied on taxis, tuk-tuks, and public transportation like the Skytrain and Metro, which offered affordable fares. Local transportation costs vary, but as a general estimate, you can expect to spend around $1 to $5 per trip within the city.

For intercity travel, we found domestic flights to be convenient and reasonably priced. A one-way domestic flight ticket between popular destinations like Bangkok and Phuket or Krabi can cost between $50 and $100 per person, depending on the airline and season.

  1. Food and Drinks: One of the highlights of honeymooning in Thailand is indulging in the mouthwatering local cuisine. From street food stalls to upscale restaurants, there’s a vast array of dining options to suit all budgets. On average, a meal at a local eatery can cost between $5 and $15 per person, while dining at a mid-range restaurant can range from $15 to $30 per person. Of course, prices can vary depending on the location and type of establishment. We enjoyed exploring street food markets, where we could sample a variety of delicious dishes at affordable prices.

  2. Activities and Excursions: Thailand offers an abundance of activities and excursions to enhance your honeymoon experience. From exploring ancient temples and participating in cooking classes to island-hopping adventures and spa treatments, there’s something for every couple’s taste. Prices for activities can vary widely, but as a rough estimate, expect to spend between $20 and $100 per person for most excursions and experiences. It’s worth noting that some activities, such as visiting national parks or taking part in water sports, may have additional entrance fees or rental costs.

  3. Miscellaneous Expenses: It’s always a good idea to budget for miscellaneous expenses such as tips, souvenirs, and unexpected costs. Tipping is not mandatory in Thailand, but it’s customary to round up the bill or leave a small gratuity for exceptional service. Souvenir prices vary, but you can find unique handicrafts, clothing, and local products at affordable prices, especially in markets. We recommend setting aside a small amount for miscellaneous expenses, usually around $10 to $20 per day per person.

Day 1: Explore Bangkok Thailand

Start your day off right by exploring all of Bangkok’s ancient temples! Bangkok has an incredible history where you can learn all about Buddhism and the history of these vibrant sites. Make sure you wear clothes that cover your knees and shoulders to be allowed in Thailand’s temples.

Let’s start at the Grand Palace, the official residence of the Thai royal family. Explore the stunning architecture and intricate details of the palace, and don’t miss the awe-inspiring Wat Phra Kaew (Temple of the Emerald Buddha) located within the palace complex. Take a short boat ride across the Chao Phraya River to Wat Arun, also known as the Temple of Dawn. Marvel at the temple’s towering spires adorned with colorful porcelain tiles, and enjoy panoramic views of Bangkok from the top.

You’ll probably get a little hungry after all this sightseeing, take a tuk-tuk to China Town for some classic Bangkok street food. This is where I first encountered the bug stands… where locals sell all kinds of dried bugs to eat. If that’s not your cup of tea don’t worry…there’s plenty of authentic Thai food to choose from! I had some killer pork potstickers that I got to watch them make from scratch!

As the sun starts to set, embark on a romantic longtail boat ride along the Chao Phraya River. Admire the glittering skyline of Bangkok and the beautifully illuminated temples and landmarks lining the riverbanks.

After that head to Khao San Road. Explore the shops, food, and bars on this vibrant strip. You’ll notice you run into backpackers and other travelers where you can make friends from all over the world.

After your cruise, check out Asiatique the Riverfront is a night market located on the banks of the Chao Phraya River. You can browse through the shops,

Treat yourselves to a romantic dinner at one of Bangkok’s rooftop restaurants, where you can enjoy breathtaking views of the cityscape while savoring delectable Thai cuisine.

We stayed at Avani which has a stunning rooftop bar and restaurant. The ambiance, coupled with the stunning panoramic views of Bangkok at night was the perfect way to end our 24 hours in Bangkok.

(If you wanted to see the iconic floating markets in Bangkok: Damnoen Saduak or Taling Chan. This is a day trip that will take up most of your day.) We didn’t have a chance to do this since we only had 24 hours here, but if you wanted to spend an extra day here this is certainly an activity I would explore. Click here for the floating markets and railway tour.

Fly to Chiang Mai

chiang mai honeymoon itinerary

If you don’t want to fly, check out 12go Asia took book ground transportation.

Let’s fly to the mountainous region of northern Thailand, Chiang Mai. Chiang Mai is a smaller city than Bangkok with a ton of history and charm. This was one of my favorite spots in all of Thailand. The food is amazing, the culture is so vibrant, and there is a ton to do and see here. If you go during November Yi Peng in Chiang Mai is Thailand’s famous lantern festival that you can not miss.

Chiang Mai is a perfect cultural experience to put on your Thailand honeymoon itinerary. Known as the “Rose of the North,” Chiang Mai has a unique blend of ancient temples, vibrant markets, and picturesque landscapes, making it an ideal destination for couples seeking a romantic and immersive experience.

Whether it’s exploring ancient temples, immersing yourselves in local markets, embarking on outdoor adventures, or simply savoring intimate moments amidst the captivating scenery, Chiang Mai offers a diverse and enchanting backdrop for an unforgettable honeymoon experience in Thailand.

We stayed at Phra Singh Village in Chiang Mai which is a beautiful hotel located in Old Town. The pool is stunning, the staff is so friendly, and the vibe has you feeling like you’re in the jungle. I highly recommend booking here for your time in Chiang Mai.

Day 2: Bike Tour of Chiang Mai and Cooking Class

night market

Chiang Mai has 117 Buddhist temples, and on today’s bike tour were going to see a bunch of them. Let’s ride to Wat Chedi Luang which was built in the 14th century and stands at 197 feet. It costs 40 baht to enter. When we got to the temple, there were Thai people dressed up dancing and singing. This was a day before Yi Peng, so there are a lot of events going on during this weekend.

Also explore Wat Phra Singh, the Gold Temple, and Three Kings MonumentHead back to the city center to see where Tha Phae Gate separates the Old City from the new city of Chiang Mai. Stop in some markets to finish with some lunch and refreshments.

We didn’t travel to northern Thailand to not try some killer Thai food, and what better way than also learning how it’s made with your new husband/wife?

At Mama Noi’s organic farm, located just outside of Chiang Mai, you will have the opportunity to get your hands dirty and learn about the ingredients that make Thai cuisine so distinctive. The experience begins with a guided tour of the farm, where you’ll learn about the cultivation of fresh herbs, vegetables, and other organic produce.

After the farm tour, it’s time to step into the kitchen and unleash your inner chef. Under the guidance of experienced instructors, you’ll learn the art of Thai cooking, from selecting the right ingredients to mastering the techniques that create harmonious flavors.

The cooking class covers a range of classic Thai dishes, allowing you to prepare a complete meal from scratch. From fragrant curries to savory stir-fries and refreshing salads, you’ll learn to create authentic flavors using traditional Thai spices and cooking methods.

One of the highlights of the experience is the use of fresh, organic ingredients sourced directly from the farm. This adds an extra layer of depth and sustainability to your culinary adventure.

Once your dishes are prepared, it’s time to savor the fruits of your labor. Sit down and enjoy the delicious meal you’ve created, surrounded by the serene beauty of the farm. The experience offers a unique opportunity to connect with the ingredients, culture, and traditions that make Thai cuisine so special.

Day 3: Explore Doi Inthanon National Park

the best place to visit in thailand for first timers for couples

Doi Inthanon, located in Chiang Mai, Thailand, is a majestic mountain that stands as the highest peak in the country. This natural wonder is part of Doi Inthanon National Park, known for its stunning landscapes, dense forests, and diverse wildlife. The mountain is shrouded in a cool, misty atmosphere and is home to numerous hiking trails, picturesque waterfalls, and lush vegetation.

Although you could explore Doi Inthanon on your own with your partner, doing a tour would make your life easier. Doi Inthanon is about 1.5-2 hours from Chiang Mai, and you will need to transfer from different spots in the park. Having transportation under a tour will just make your life easier when navigating the park and it’s also amazing to have someone inform you on its history and the best places to see! We did a private tour, and we are so happy we did. (it’s also great to have a tour guide also act as your photographer.)

This full-day excursion below takes you on a captivating journey through the stunning Doi Inthanon National Park. Discover the majestic waterfalls cascading down lush mountains, breathe in the crisp mountain air, and witness the breathtaking beauty of Thailand’s highest peak. Explore the Royal Project, where sustainable agriculture and local communities thrive. With an experienced guide, learn about the rich culture, flora, and fauna of the region. This tour offers an unforgettable experience in the heart of Chiang Mai’s natural paradise.

Day 4:Wat Pha Lat, Doi Suthep, and Bhubing Palace

thailand honeymoon itinerary

Exploring Wat Pha Lat on your Thailand honeymoon itinerary in Chiang Mai is a romantic and enchanting experience that combines natural beauty, tranquility, and cultural immersion. Nestled in the lush foothills of Doi Suthep, this hidden gem is often overlooked by tourists, making it an ideal spot for an intimate and peaceful getaway.

To reach Wat Pha Lat, you can embark on a scenic hike through the forested trails starting from the famous Wat Doi Suthep. As you ascend the well-maintained path, you’ll be surrounded by the sights and sounds of nature, creating a serene and romantic atmosphere for you and your partner.

Upon arriving at Wat Pha Lat, you’ll be greeted by the sight of a picturesque temple cascading down the mountainside, nestled amidst tropical foliage. The temple’s architecture is reminiscent of the Lanna style, with intricately carved wooden structures and ornate decorations.

Take your time to explore the temple grounds and soak in the tranquil ambiance. Admire the stunning views of Chiang Mai City below and the surrounding mountains. The peaceful atmosphere and lush surroundings provide the perfect backdrop for a quiet moment together, away from the bustling crowds.

Wat Pha Lat also features a small waterfall nearby, adding to the magical charm of the place. You can relax by the cascading waters, dip your feet in the cool stream, or simply enjoy the sounds of nature while basking in each other’s company.

You can do this as a day tour or visit at night. My husband and I went for dusk, which was stunning watching the twinkling lights of Chiang Mai from Wat Phra Lat and Doi Suthep. We also got to witness the monk rituals and get a monk blessing which was really special.

Day 5: Chiang Mai Elephant Sanctuary

One of the most memorable experiences I had on my Thailand honeymoon itinerary was visiting an elephant sanctuary. Although this is a transformative and unforgettable experience for a Thailand honeymoon, it is crucial to research and choose the best sanctuary that prioritizes the well-being and ethical treatment of these gentle creatures.

Chiang Mai is renowned for its elephant sanctuaries, where couples can witness these magnificent animals up close and even engage in meaningful interactions with them. These sanctuaries provide a safe haven for rescued elephants, allowing them to roam freely, socialize, and receive proper care.

To ensure a responsible and ethical experience, it is essential to thoroughly research and select a sanctuary that operates with transparency and places the welfare of the elephants as their top priority. Look for sanctuaries that prioritize conservation efforts, promote educational initiatives, and provide a natural habitat for the elephants to thrive.

The best sanctuaries in Chiang Mai offer opportunities to observe elephants in their natural environment, learn about their behavior and conservation efforts, and engage in activities such as feeding and bathing them. You can witness the elephants’ intelligence, playfulness, and the strong bonds they form within their social groups.

By choosing a reputable sanctuary, you can contribute to the ethical treatment of elephants and support conservation efforts, ensuring that your honeymoon experience aligns with your values. The joy of being near these majestic animals, witnessing their well-being, and learning about the challenges they face will create lasting memories while making a positive impact.

Day 6: Explore Chiang Mai’s Street Market

Chiang Mai, known for its vibrant street food scene, offers a plethora of bustling markets where you can tantalize your taste buds with a variety of delicious dishes. Chiang Mai is especially known for Khao Soi, which is a must-try here. Here is a brief overview of some popular street food markets in Chiang Mai and the must-try dishes:

  1. Warorot Market: Located in the heart of the city, Warorot Market is a bustling hub of activity. Here, you can find an array of local snacks and fresh produce. Don’t miss out on trying Khao Soi, a signature dish of Chiang Mai, which is a rich and creamy curry noodle soup topped with crispy noodles.

  2. Chang Puak Gate Market: This night market, situated near the North Gate of the old city, offers a diverse range of street food. Sample the delectable Sai Oua, a Northern Thai sausage packed with flavors of lemongrass, chili, and herbs. Also, try the Khanom Krok, a sweet coconut rice pancake, and indulge in fresh fruit smoothies.

Fly to Krabi

krabi

Krabi is a spot in Thailand you really don’t want to miss. If you are looking for a quieter scene and some of the most beautiful beaches Thailand has to offer, Krabi is the place for you.

We stayed at the Tubkaak Boutique Resort about 30 minutes north from the hustle and bustle of Ao Nang. This resort has a PRIVATE BEACH that is secluded from tourists and it is just stunning. The waterfront restaurant is just beautiful and we booked some great excursions directly from the hotel. If you are looking to stray away from tourists, this hotel is for you.

Day 7: Tiger Cave Temple & Emerald Hot Springs

The best way to explore Krabi and see all of the hidden gems is via motorbike. We rented a motorbike through our hotel, but you can also rent one through a shop in Ao Nang. Make sure you have all the safety gear, understand the rules when driving in Thailand, and have a GPS to navigate. Motorbikes can be dangerous if you are not careful, so make sure you practice and feel comfortable hitting the road with your partner.

We had so much fun during our 5 days in Krabi exploring with our motorbike. We were able to go wherever we wanted to, whenever we wanted to, and hopping on the back of a bike with my husband driving made us feel like two reckless young kids in love, it made our Thailand honeymoon itinerary so fun.

When you get your motorbike head to Tiger Cave Temple (Wat Tham Sua) just outside of Ao Nang. The temple is renowned for its steep staircase leading to a stunning viewpoint overlooking the surrounding landscape. Climb the 1,237 steps to the top, and you’ll be rewarded with breathtaking panoramic views of Krabi’s lush forests and karst formations.

Let’s cool off, and ride to the enchanting Emerald Pool and Hot Springs in the Khao Phra Bang Khram Nature Reserve. Take a refreshing dip in the natural hot springs and rejuvenate in the mineral-rich waters. Explore the lush surroundings, take a leisurely walk through the rainforest, and enjoy the serenity of this hidden paradise.

As the day draws to a close, ride back to Ao Nang Beach and find a spot to enjoy the mesmerizing sunset. Ao Nang offers a lively atmosphere, with a variety of beachfront bars and restaurants where you can unwind and toast to the beginning of your honeymoon.

Wrap up your first day in Krabi with a delightful dinner at one of the local seafood restaurants or explore the vibrant night markets, such as the Krabi Town Night Market or the Ao Nang Night Market. Indulge in delicious street food, shop for souvenirs, and immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere of the bustling market. (Try the mango sticky rice, it is to die for)

Day 8: Day trip to Hong Island

A day trip to Hong Island from Krabi is the perfect romantic day trip to put on your Thailand honeymoon itinerary. Located in the Andaman Sea off the coast of Krabi, Hong Island captivates visitors with its untouched beauty and crystal-clear turquoise waters.

Relax on the beautiful white sand of Pilae Beach, snorkel in the crystal blue waters of the Hong Lagoon, and climb up the steps to Koh Hong Viewpoint for some epic scenery.

A day trip to Hong Island from Krabi is a magical experience that offers a secluded and untouched paradise, allowing you to reconnect with nature and create cherished moments during your Thailand honeymoon.

Day 9: Day trip to Railay Beach

the best place to visit in thailand for first timers

Nestled on a picturesque peninsula in the province of Krabi, Thailand, Railay Beach is a tropical paradise that captivates honeymooners with its pristine beauty and intimate atmosphere. Surrounded by towering limestone cliffs, Railay Beach is accessible only by boat, adding to its secluded charm. To reach this idyllic destination, couples can embark on a short and scenic longtail boat ride from Krabi, where they’ll be greeted by turquoise waters, powdery white sand, and lush greenery.

We got to Railay by catching a long-tailed boat from Ao Nang Beach, it is only about a 20-minute ride and only costs 100 Baht roundtrip. Just make sure to get back to your boat before sunset, they stop running boats after dark.

There is so much to do and see in Railay. There’s a strip of shops, restaurants, and bars to grab lunch and walk around. We got some great Thai food for lunch and enjoyed a frozen drink in a coconut, it was perfect.

The crystal-clear waters of Phra Nang Cave Beach beckon, offering a secluded haven where you can swim, snorkel, or simply relax on the stunning shoreline. If you’re seeking adventure, the iconic limestone cliffs of Railay Beach provide the perfect opportunity for rock climbing, with routes available for all skill levels.

Railay is a must on your Thailand honeymoon itinerary. My husband and I lounged on the beach all day, enjoyed cocktails on the water, kayaked, and snorkeled. We even stayed in the water while it rained, it was such a fun experience together.

If you want a super exclusive romantic experience in Railay check out Rayavadee Resort. They are one of the best romantic dining resorts, with the famous restaurant The Grotto.

Just keep in mind, when you stay in Railay, you have to take a boat every time you want to explore something else in Krabi. If you are looking to have easy access to all areas of Krabi you might want to consider staying on the mainland. For more of a resort-like honeymoon without all of the exploring, I would highly recommend staying in Railay, it’s easily one of the most beautiful spots in Krabi.

Day 10: Krabi Beach Day & Muai Thai Fight Night

Let’s hang around Ao Nang Beach right in the main part of town. You can lay on the beach, snorkel, paddle board, or swim. There are also tons of massage spots, food spots, and bars within walking distance which can give you a full busy afternoon of exploring the popular town of Ao Nang.

If you are feeling like hopping on a boat there will be plenty of options for long-tailed boats to take you to Railay Beach or the Four Islands: Koh Poda, Chicken Island, Tup Island, and Phranang Cave Beach.

After your day exploring Krabi’s best honeymoon beaches, let’s get ready for fight night! Before the fight, we grabbed some street food and drinks from the Ao Nang night market. They have a selection of all kinds of Thai food and they even had some live music. Make sure to get the grilled satay skewers and mango sticky rice here, it’s incredible!

Muay Thai, also known as “The Art of Eight Limbs,” is a traditional martial art and combat sport that originated in Thailand. It holds deep cultural significance and is considered the national sport of Thailand. Check the Muay Thai website for more details about booking a Muay Thai fight night.

After the fight is over, you can go out for an end-of-the-night cap in Ao Nang or head back to your accommodation to sleep off this long, fun-packed day.

Day 11: Hike Tab Kak Hang Nak Nature Trail

thailand honeymoon itinerary

Located in the Khao Phanom Bencha National Park, the Tab Kak Hang Nak Nature Trail is renowned for its stunning vistas and diverse wildlife. The trail takes you through lush rainforests, past cascading waterfalls, and eventually leads to the peak of Hang Nak Hill. The hike is challenging, but the reward is well worth the effort.

The trail is dotted with fascinating flora and fauna, including unique plant species and a variety of birdlife. (We saw a chameleon which was awesome!) Keep your eyes peeled for monkeys swinging through the trees and the occasional glimpse of other wildlife that calls this area home.

As you reach the summit of Hang Nak Hill, take a moment to catch your breath and soak in the awe-inspiring panoramic views that stretch out before you. The sweeping vistas of the Andaman Sea, nearby islands, and the lush greenery of Krabi’s landscape create a breathtaking backdrop that will leave you feeling invigorated and in awe of nature’s beauty.

Remember to bring plenty of water, sunscreen, and insect repellent for the hike, as well as comfortable clothing and sturdy footwear (the trail has loose gravel and rocks.) It’s also a good idea to start early in the morning to avoid the midday heat, we went mid-day that’s why my husband sweat through his shirt in that picture.

The Tab Kak Hang Nak Nature Trail offers a unique opportunity to escape the bustling beaches of Krabi and immerse yourself in the tranquility of nature. It’s a chance to create cherished memories and share an adventurous experience with your partner as you explore the remarkable beauty of this region. If hiking is something that interests you as a couple, here are some of the best hiking gifts for your significant other for your honeymoon climbing adventures.

Thailand honeymoon itinerary

Phuket is a popular spot to go in Thailand. There is so much to do, a large party scene, and some beautiful beaches. You also have access to some incredible day trips like the iconic Maya Bay on the Phi Phi Islands.

We stayed at The Slate in Phuket. This hotel was by far, the most fancy and well designed hotel I have ever seen. First of all, you feel like you’re on a college campus because it is so large, (there are 3 massive pools). The resturaunts are just incredible, you really don’t have to ever leave the hotel. If you are looking for a unique resort type experience, The Slate is for you.

Day 13: Explore Patong and the Big Buddah

Let’s explore the lively Patong! If you are staying in Patong, it is very walkable. If you are staying outside of Patong (like we did because we wanted more quiet and romantic) then catch a tuk-tuk of take a motorbike to this bustling and vibrant spot in Phuket.

Take your time to wander through the lively markets, where you can find everything from clothing and accessories to local handmade items. Make your way to Jungceylon, a bustling shopping complex, where you can indulge in some retail therapy and find unique souvenirs to commemorate your honeymoon.

Day 14: Day Trip to Phi Phi Island

the best place to visit in thailand for first timers

Phi Phi Island is a day trip you have to take when in southern Thailand. Although it’s a touristy spot in Thailand, it is worth all of the hype. The best way to experience Koh Phi Phi on your Thailand honeymoon is by doing a sunrise tour to beat the crowds.

One of the most popular beaches in Koh Phi Phi is Maya Bay and this is one of the best beaches in Thailand for couples. This would be your first stop on your Phi Phi sunrise tour so you can avoid the hundreds of tourists that visit every day.

Phi Phi Island is one of the most romantic spots in Thailand, and perfect for your Thailand honeymoon. The soft golden hues reflecting on the azure waters created a dreamy atmosphere that makes your Instagram pictures not even need a filter.

After exploring the serene Maya Bay, We headed to a popular spot with crystal-clear waters for some unforgettable snorkeling. Swimming alongside vibrant coral reefs and exotic marine life felt like entering a different world altogether. We saw four baby sharks and we were just totally awe-struck by the scenery and colorful marine life.

Our tour also took us to monkey island where we saw a ton of monkeys and other beaches to relax and swim such as Bamboo Island and Ton Sai Beach. We grabbed drinks at the beach bar and got to take in the beauty of what surrounded us. Phi Phi Island was the perfect romantic addition to our Thailand honeymoon itinerary and we would highly recommend you experience this stunning part of Thailand.

I mean it when I say all four of these hotels were OUTSTANDING if you are looking for luxury for your Thailand honeymoon itinerary. Every single hotel greeted us with immense joy and refreshments.

They all congratulated us by sending champagne, cake, or decorating the room for our honeymoon. We are so thankful that every single one of the hotels we chose was such an incredible experience for our Thailand honeymoon. Also, if you want to splurge on the free breakfast… do it! I felt like a Queen every morning with the spread I was getting from these hotels.

The rooftop pool and restaurant at the Avani in Bangkok were breathtaking and gave you insane panoramic views of the city. Phra Singh Village is a quaint, picturesque hotel perfectly nestled in the perfect location of the Old City of Chiang Mai. The Tubkaak is located away from the hustle and bustle of Ao Nang, Krabi, and has a private beach with a stunning restaurant and pool.

The Slates’ modern, industrial architecture is sure to blow your mind. The hotel itself is about the size of a college campus and it has some of the best restaurants I have ever been to. The Slate also is tucked away from Patong, but who needs the busy nightlife when you can sit at their infinity pool bar all night? This place is the definition of luxury.
